How do cats say words? Through their eyes, of course. So there is no need to be frightened by that gaze. How does this work? First, the cat stares at you for a long while. And after that, it blinks its eyes slowly. Some people tag this as a cat eye as a way a cat is happy with you.

Do Cats Have a Third Eye
Unlike some popular myths, cats don’t have a third eye. However cats do have what is called a third eyelid, which is called a nictitating membrane.
This inner eyelid protects the eyes of the cats from harm and also from dryness. When caring for your cats’ eyes you will want to take notice if your felines membrane is somewhat closed. If you notice their eyelid slow to move or is closed, then take your cat to the veterinary to determine if their eye is healthy or if there are issues to address.
But this third eyelid will also show once a cat is happy. So you will know what mood your cat is in just by looking at the membrane.
About Cat’s Eye – What about their Pupils’
Another thing to notice about your cat’s eye is their eye pupil. A change in size of one pupil can be an indication of eye inflammation. It may also be a sign of a neurologic disorder called Horner’s Syndrome. Or worse, at worse it may indicate tumors or an injury in the central nervous system.
